HESLB ANNOUNCES 'DIPLOMA' LOANS ALLOCATIONS FOR 2023/2024

1.0     INTRODUCTION

The Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) would like to inform the public that the allocation of Diploma loans for the first time for the academic year 2023/2024 has been completed and list of admitted students sent to 36 colleges to complete payment procedures.

HESLB will start sending money to students allocated loans to respective colleges in the next few days; and qualified students who applied for loans at the diploma level are advised to get detailed information through the accounts they used to apply for loans known as SIPA (Student’s Individual Permanent Account).

2.0       PAYMENT PROCEDURES

The payment process for Diploma students allocated loans is on progress and HESLB Officers have started visiting respective colleges to collaborate with college managements to receive students’ important information including bank details and college registration numbers.

3.0 2023/2024 DIPLOMA LOANS

Diploma loans have been granted for the first time this academic year 2023/2024 to students admitted in the following six priority programmes:

        i. ‘Health & Allied Sciences’;

        ii. ‘Education and Teaching’;

        iii. ‘Transport & Logistics’;

        iv. ‘Energy Engineering’;

        v. ‘Mining & Earth Science’ &

        vi. ‘Agriculture & livestock

4.0       CONCLUSION

HESLB advises qualified students but did not apply for loans within the period that was previously provided (October 7, 2023 to October 30, 2023), to visit college administrations they are admitted to or call 0736 665 533 or send an email to info@heslb.go.tz or send a message to WhatsApp 0739 665 533 for clarification.
