CLARIFICATION: LOANS ARE DISBURSED THROUGH ANY BANK ACCOUNT

We would like to remind students who are beneficiaries of higher education students’ loans that the payment of loans provided by the Government through HESLB is paid and received by the student through bank account of their choice and registered to receive his/her loan.

This clarification is given following inquiries and comments from various stakeholders including students as well as Students Government Leaders.

It may be recalled that, through announcements we made to loan applicants for the year 2023/2024 from July to October, 2023, we urged all loan applicants to open bank accounts in financial institutions of their choice.

This clarification aims to remind loan beneficiaries that payment procedures of HESLB loans allow all beneficiaries to be paid on time through various bank accounts of their choice.

With this clarification, we would like to assure all students benefiting from HESLB loans, that each beneficiary who completed registration procedures at the university/college and registration of HESLB payment system (DiDiS) will be paid their money on time through their respective bank accounts they chose.
